Great Eastern Quays Phase 2 development provides 469 mixed tenure affordable homes for end-users Notting Hill Genesis, together with 850 sqm commercial space for business start-ups.
The site sits at the northeast end of the Royal Docks / Great Eastern Quays masterplan with views across the River Thames, and FCB’s design concept is a predominantly brick-built neighbourhood with 12 blocks residential blocks of varying heights and configurations set between public realm garden squares.
All aspects of the technical delivery of this large scheme were challenging, and in particular the apparent simplicity of the elegant masonry façades with their subtle changes of brick, plane and bond require focus and complex specialist detailing “beneath the surface”.
We work across a diverse range of projects and take pride in consistently delivering results through strong collaboration, learning from one another and providing support to achieve the best outcomes.
“The team have delivered an exceptional urban park that will benefit the entire neighbourhood.”
Jake Brodetsky, Director, Notting Hill Genesis
