The first phase of the Cheshunt Lakeside Masterplan was completed in Spring 2023. This development will transform the area, providing over 1,700 new homes and 19,000 sqm of commercial space next to the station and existing town centre. Its strategic location is near the River Lee Country Park and has excellent connections to central London and Cambridge.
KSS appointment consisted of two medium-rise residential apartment blocks. These two buildings vary in height between three and seven storeys, finished in two brick colours. This phase comprises of 195 apartments of various sizes and tenures (112 Affordable Rent and 83 Shared Ownership) with different communal landscaped areas on podium terrace areas and their surroundings.
Our client, B3Living, a Broxbourne-based housing association, is a social business providing homes for those otherwise priced out of the market. B3 Living manage many homes in this area, working with the Borough of Broxbourne and is aware that many people can’t afford the price of houses on the open market.
“This development is the largest in B3Living’s history, which has been made possible through our ongoing relationship with Broxbourne Borough Council and a £10.2m grant from Homes England, which strengthened our partnership with them.”
David Biggs, Chair of B3Living
We work across a diverse range of projects and take pride in consistently delivering results through strong collaboration, learning from one another and providing support to achieve the best outcomes.
“This new development will transform the local area and local lives into a thriving residential and business community to address the demand for high-quality, affordable homes in the area.”
Stephen Wicks, Chief Executive, Inland Homes
