The expansion of Liverpool FC’s iconic Anfield Stadium is central to a comprehensive master plan that connects Walton Breck Road with the historic Stanley Park, forming part of a much-needed regeneration of the Anfield area.
The phased development increased the stadium's capacity to just under 54,000. The first phase, completed in 2016, delivered the 20,500-seat Main Stand, now one of the most significant single stands in the country. It features a full range of high-quality facilities for players, general admission fans and premium hospitality guests.
The architectural design honours the owners’ vision to retain the traditional four-stand configuration. It captures the venue's unique spirit through club and historical references, while enhancing the intense matchday experience that Anfield is known for.
The new Main Stand spans three floors and includes ten distinct hospitality offerings, each providing various levels of food, beverage and sponsorship integration. Additionally, two premium concourse levels were custom-designed to deliver an authentic, club-specific experience.
We work across a diverse range of projects and take pride in consistently delivering results through strong collaboration, learning from one another and providing support to achieve the best outcomes.
“The redevelopment of the Main Stand at Anfield, is a fantastic opportunity for us to enhance an already iconic stadium. The designs ensure that we deliver a modern facility, whilst protecting and preserving our unique heritage”
Tom Doyle, Stadium Project Director, Liverpool FC
