We’re delighted to announce the official handover of Samara House, the first new residential block at Pike Close, marking a major milestone in the regeneration of the estate.
This new development delivers 29 high-quality, energy-efficient homes designed to meet the needs of existing and new Pike Close residents and strengthen the local community for years to come.
The completion is a significant step in the joint venture partnership between Riverside, Countryside Homes and Vistry we are thrilled to see this vision come to life. These new homes offer modern, comfortable living spaces that place energy efficiency, sustainability and community wellbeing at their core.
In the lead-up to completion, residents were invited to visit their future homes and begin planning their moves, a special moment that highlighted the real impact of this regeneration project.
This milestone follows the ‘topping out’ ceremony celebrated in March 2024, where Riverside, Countryside, residents, local councillors and representatives from the Greater London Authority were all invited.
Alongside this milestone, KSS has submitted a Non-Material Amendment (NMA) planning application for Phases 2 and 3, covering 176 units. The amendment includes the addition of a second staircase to Block A, ensuring the scheme remains compliant with evolving building regulations while continuing to prioritise the safety and wellbeing of future residents. The application is currently under review, with a planning decision anticipated in September 2025.
The completion of Samara House is just the first chapter in the regeneration of Pike Close, and we look forward to seeing the estate transform into a thriving, future community.
