We delivered a series of transformative upgrades at Benenden School, one of the UK’s leading independent boarding schools for girls aged 11–18. Nestled within 250 acres of picturesque parkland in Kent, the school provides an exceptional environment for learning and personal growth.
Our refurbishment works focused on the existing ‘Medway’ house for Year 7 students and ‘Marshall’ house for Years 8–11. The project involved the complete revitalisation of dormitories and bathrooms, as well as key reconfigurations to enhance communal areas—such as boot rooms, study zones and cosy social snugs—creating more functional and welcoming spaces for students.
We also designed and installed bespoke identity graphics and artwork throughout the houses, reflecting Benenden’s ethos, celebrating women in education and honouring the unique heritage of each house. These creative interventions added a sense of place, pride and inspiration to the newly refurbished spaces.
We work across a diverse range of projects and take pride in consistently delivering through collaboration, learning from and supporting one another to achieve the best outcomes.
“The Medway and Marshall Houses are absolutely delighted with the results, and so are the pupils. The end result is fantastic.”
Anne Wakefield, Deputy Head, Boarding and Pastoral Care Bendenden School
