KSS were initially appointed by Excel London in December 2023 to develop and enhance its wayfinding strategy. This also included its new state-of-the-art 25,000 sqm expansion.
A key element of this phase was the introduction of Excel’s branding into the built environment for the very first time, translating the identity from concept into physical form.
As part of this process, we extended the Vidula brand language into a comprehensive set of wayfinding assets, including a bespoke family of pictograms and a suite of wayfinding maps, developed from concept through to deployment. Working in close collaboration with the client, we created a complete sign family, now successfully installed across the new expansion and being implemented across the wider Excel campus.
The sign family encompasses a full spectrum of typologies, ranging from digital totems to large-scale supergraphics spanning three floors of the building. This phase was completed in September 2025.
